The new facility in Gothenburg will work closely with other engineering centers around the world that play a central role in software development, such as the recently opened Tech Hub in Singapore. Among Volvo’s software development efforts is work related to creating next-generation connectivity features. In addition to Krakow and Singapore, Volvo Tech Hubs are present in Stockholm and Lund (Sweden), as well as Bangalore (India). The brand can also count on major engineering centers in Shanghai (China) and Gothenburg (Sweden). Anders BellHead of Research and Development commented: This is a state-of-the-art facility that will be the center of our global software testing and verification activities. This center allows developers from all of our global engineering and technology centers to test software remotely 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I firmly believe that this new testing center will set a new standard for the automotive industry.
